Productions overview:

The selection of precious raw materials and perfect assembling with CNC machines characterize the special manufacturing procedure.

An acoustic piano consists of more than 5.000 single parts which accordingly makes its production very complex, nevertheless we offer a brief description for you:

Step 1:

Only slow growing spruce of the highest quality from northern Mongolia, Russia and Austria is used in the production of the soundboards, bars and braces.

The bridge, laminated pin block and soundboard are made out of specially selected hardwood from Europe, China and Canada..

The soundboard, action and keyboard are stored in drying rooms in order to avoid later shrinking.
Step 2:

The iron frames are also produced in Ningbo.
After 6 months storage, the milling and drilling is done with computerized CNC machines. Afterwards the frame is coated, sprayed and equipped with hitch-pins and wooden dowels.
Step 3:

Tension aligned parts are perfectly milled with CNC machines for the best construction method possible with a precision that guarantees future tonal quality and tuning stability.
After gluing the back-post frame, the pin block and the soundboard brace, these parts are finished off by high-tech machines.

This work process guarantees the optimum precision, large-scale production and desired sound of our instruments.

When fixing the ribs to the soundboard, a computerized thermal process is applied. This guarantees a perfectly stable curvature and gluing of the soundboard.

Step 4:

After the soundboard has been glued to the back-post frame it is milled to the exact size.
After positioning the iron frame the computerized drilling of the pin-block is conducted. Then the tuning pins are positioned in the pin block through precise and even pressure. This working process guarantees optimum tuning stability.
Step 5:

Best steel wire from Röslau is used to string the instrument with a great deal of care and attention.

The spinning of the bass strings has been perfected by Peter Veletzky.
Only the finest copper is used for the strings, which are hand-made by highly-trained technicians. The result is an outstanding tone and longevity comparable with far more expensive instruments.
Step 6:

Perfect spacing of the tuning pins is obtained through precise planning expert attention in production. In turn this allows for accurate tuning.

The first tuning process takes place - also called "chipping up" the instrument - so that

the piano is under tension and is quickly brought up to pitch.

Step 7:

The hydraulic press ensures that the outer rim is accurately positioned.
Here you can see our unique aluminium keybed and frame, the simple but ingenious moderator system, the pedal unit, the keyboard and the action.

The following pictures show the process of gluing the hammerheads and adjusting the keyboard and action with the help of templates which ensure the precision of the touch.

Step 8:

Then the cabinet receives its finishing touches and the piano is played in using a special machine.
Step 9:

Final regulation, tuning and voicing takes place.
